Door repairs and replacement
Repair or replace the agreed door and related hardware. Check the door leaf, frame, hinges, clearances and closing position so the work addresses the affected opening, not only its visible finish.
Door-lock and hardware repairs
We repair or replace door locks, handles, latches and hinges, tighten loose fittings and repair or replace worn sliding-door rollers. The door, track and closing position are checked before compatible parts are selected. The scope records whether the work is hardware-only or also includes frame or door repairs.
Window repairs and broken-glass replacement
We repair or replace windows and replace broken window or door glass and damaged mirrors. The opening or mirror size, glazing specification, fixing method and access are checked before replacement is arranged. Tell us whether the surrounding frame also needs repair and whether removal and disposal are required.
Rotten timber window and door frames
Repair or replace affected timber sections around window and door frames where appropriate to their condition. The extent of deterioration, adjoining material and any moisture concerns determine whether a local repair or a larger frame replacement is needed.
Flyscreen and screen-door installation
We replace torn window or door screen mesh, refix loose screens, repair screen-door fittings and measure and install new flyscreens or screen doors. The frame, rollers, hinges, latch and mounting arrangement are checked for the work required. Mesh replacement and replacement of the complete screen are quoted as different scopes.
Curtain and blind measurement and installation
We repair, replace and install curtains and blinds, including loose brackets or rods, detached blind chains, damaged handles and blinds that need refitting. Motorised-blind faults can be assessed for repair or replacement of the affected parts, with any electrical work assigned to the responsible licensed trade. For a new curtain or blind, we measure the opening and check the fixing surface, mounting position and product dimensions before installation.

What changes the repair or installation scope
The opening and the selected product matter as much as the visible fault. These details help avoid a replacement that does not fit the existing situation.
Repair one part or replace the assembly?
A worn handle or damaged trim is different from a deteriorated frame or a complete door or window replacement. The surrounding condition is assessed before the repair boundary is agreed.
Measure before buying replacement products
A nominal product size is not enough to establish fit. Opening dimensions, clearances, mounting position and the fixing surface need to be checked before products are ordered.
Glass, access and installation responsibilities
The glazing specification, access and applicable installation requirements are confirmed for the actual opening. Product selection and the responsibility for any regulated work are not inferred from a photograph.
Finishing around the opening
State whether removal, disposal, local timber repairs, sealing, wall repairs and painting are included. These are not automatic inclusions in every hardware or installation job.

Yes. Single repair and installation jobs are welcome; they do not need to form part of a renovation.
Do you replace broken window glass?+
Yes. Send the window type, a wide photo taken from a safe position and access details. The glazing specification, measurements and installation arrangements are confirmed before replacement.
Can rotten timber frames be repaired without replacing the whole window or door?+
Sometimes a local timber repair is suitable, while more extensive deterioration needs a larger replacement. The extent of the damage and surrounding condition must be assessed first.
Do you measure and install curtains and blinds?+
Yes. We measure and install curtains and blinds, and also repair or replace existing coverings and fittings. Tell us whether the problem is a chain, handle, bracket, rod, motorised operation or the covering itself. Product compatibility, supply, mounting and removal requirements are confirmed for the job.
