Carpet measurement and installation in Brisbane
Mel One provides carpet measurement and installation for Brisbane homes, either as a standalone job or within a room update. Tell us which rooms need carpet, whether existing flooring is to be removed and whether you already have a selected product.
Room measurement and layout
Measure the areas to be carpeted and account for doorways, room shapes and transitions to retained flooring. Approximate dimensions help an enquiry, but product quantities and the installation layout need to be checked before ordering.
Product supply and preparation
Clarify whether carpet is customer-supplied or included in the quoted work. Underlay, furniture movement, old-carpet removal and disposal are separate inclusions that need to be agreed.
Installation and finishing
We install replacement carpet and can re-stretch suitable loose or rippled carpet. Existing carpet, underlay, fixings and the underlying surface are checked to decide whether re-stretching is suitable or replacement is needed. The quote identifies the rooms, removal, edges and transitions included.
Outdoor landscaping, pergolas, decking and fencing
Mel One undertakes front- and backyard improvement and maintenance work across Greater Brisbane. This includes the agreed landscaping work, pergolas, timber decks and fences. Outdoor work can be booked on its own or planned alongside changes to the home.
Front- and backyard landscaping
We undertake the agreed garden maintenance, plant pruning, tree pruning and tree removal. Describe the tree or planting, its approximate size, nearby buildings and powerlines, and access for the work. The method, responsible contractor, any approval requirements and removal of cut material are confirmed for the job; stump work is separately agreed.
Pergolas
Discuss a new pergola, repair or maintenance of an existing structure. We also repair or refix suitable existing awning fabric and fittings, and remove damaged awning timber where agreed, including sealing the fixing holes. Identify the location, access, connection to the house and affected parts. Structural and approval requirements are established for the actual project before work is agreed.
Timber decks
Choose the agreed installation, repair or maintenance work. Distinguish damaged decking boards and visible finishes from the condition of supporting components; a surface repair is not evidence that every concealed support is sound.
Fences
Installation, replacement, repairs and maintenance are scoped around the affected fence sections, existing posts, selected materials and site access. Confirm the work boundary and removal requirements rather than treating a small repair as a complete fence replacement.
Include an overall view, approximate dimensions, the affected sections and any existing plans or product selections. The site conditions and any relevant trade or approval requirements are checked for the agreed work.

Can I book a small repair without a renovation?+
Yes. Single repair and installation jobs are welcome, as are larger renovation projects. Choose the closest service or include a list of items in one enquiry.
Do you supply products as well as install them?+
Supply arrangements depend on the job. Tell us whether you already have the product; the quote identifies what is supplied, installed, removed and finished.
Can indoor and outdoor work be included in one enquiry?+
Yes. List the separate areas and tasks. The scope, site access and any trade responsibilities are then confirmed for each part.
Can I discuss the kitchen, bathroom and other rooms as one renovation project?+
Yes. List every room involved and identify what should be retained, repaired or replaced in each one. The work sequence, shared finishes, supply responsibilities and any regulated trade work then need to be defined in the proposed scope.
