This page explains how Mel One Property Maintenance Pty Ltd, operating this Mel One Brisbane renovation website, handles information you give us when asking about a job. You can also contact Allen by phone, text or email without using the website form.

What we receive

The enquiry form asks for your email, suburb or postcode and a description of the work. You may also supply your name, phone number, service type, preferred timing and approximate budget. The form records the page you submitted from and an enquiry reference to help handle delivery and follow-up. It does not upload photos. If you reply to an email or send a text with photos, the contents of that separate message are also part of your enquiry.

Please avoid sending identity documents, payment card details or other sensitive information with an initial request. If a job later requires further details, we can discuss what is necessary.

Why we use it

We use your details to respond, assess whether the work fits our service, arrange any inspection, prepare a scope or quote, coordinate the work you request and keep related business records. Giving us an enquiry does not confirm a booking or a price.

Who handles the information

The form sends the enquiry through the Resend email service to the configured Mel One recipient. It also attempts to send a receipt to the email address you provide. People assessing or delivering your requested work may receive the details needed for their part of it, including a specialist contractor where one is required. The website is hosted on Vercel. Email, hosting and other service providers may process information outside Australia; contact us if you need more detail about a particular enquiry. We do not sell enquiry details.

Website visits and measurement

Hosting systems may process technical request information such as an IP address, browser details and requested pages. This site uses Google Analytics to measure page use and actions such as calls and form submissions. The event code sends page information and an enquiry reference for form actions, rather than the name, email, phone or job description typed into the form. Analytics providers may also use their own browser identifiers. The map on the About page is supplied by Google and may connect to Google when that page loads.

Keeping and protecting records

We use website and email-provider controls to limit unwanted access. Enquiry records may be kept for follow-up, job administration and record-keeping needs. Contact us about a particular record if you would like to know whether it is still held or ask for its removal.
